Dr. Esther Lightcap Meek delivered The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology’s 2018 Stanley Grenz Lecture. This annual event happens the first Monday of November.

Although I have never been a matriculated student of Dr. Meek, she has nonetheless been my teacher for many years now. Having devoured everything she has written she has been a reliable guide wooing me toward a more faithful relationship with reality. I find her exuberance for life and learning ventures to be infectious. And by her example I find myself compelled to open up to the yet to be known.

I find her quirky in a way that dares me to own my uniqueness more fully, expose my wonder, while opening with love in order to know.

Dr. Meek’s lecture is titled, “Loving Reality in an Anti-Realist Age.”

I commend Dr, Meek, her writings, and this lecture to you.

Peace, dwight
