I’m sorry to say that the class I was planning to teach as part of VST’s Summer School had to be cancelled. VST has so many amazing Summer Classes, check out their lineup!

Here is the title and description of what I was planning to engage:

Conversations After Church: Tools for Discerning the Spirit’s Invitation through the Metacrisis, the Decline of Christendom, and the Nones/Dones/Ums & Spiritual But Not Religious

In the wake of recent global events, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Western churches find themselves navigating new and often post-traumatic contexts for mission, ministry, and community. This course equips students with frameworks and practical tools to faithfully lead their churches and spiritual communities in this era of accelerating change. By integrating spiritual listening practices, systems change theory, church history, sociology of religion, and Trinitarian theology, the course provides an integrative approach to helping current and future leaders courageously guide their communities through periods of rapid transformation with wisdom, resilience, and resurrection hope.

BTW – I revised this this post after the cancellation.

Peace, dwight
