I just returned from a great weekend Delaware. While it was a bit of a whirlwind, it was a rich time of imagining deeply with some very thoughtful leaders from St Barnabas’ Episcopal Church. The leadership retreat was held at the A. Felix duPont Memorial House at Rehoboth Beach.

Special thanks to Father Kenn for making it happen. To all the Vestry leaders who were so thoroughly engaged in rich conversation, and the St Barnabas community for investing in their collective future in this way. I pray God’s richest blessings for y’all, as you seek to follow the Spirit into your next steps.

I had mentioned in one of my classes that I was heading out East for the weekend. And one of my students arranged to bring his family to come hear me preach on Sunday… we even went out for lunch and they dropped me off at the airport. Thanks Johnny, Jess, and Billie! So great to be with you all… and thanks for the snack for the flight home!

And of course thanks to my family for letting me out to play.

Peace, dwight

Thank you, Wilmington
