What a privilege to be one of the keynote speakers for this year’s PLU’s annual Summer Institute on Pastoral Theology. Granted Dr. Nate Frambach, who is the Associate Professor of Youth & Culture at Wartburg Seminary, Dubuque, Iowa was scheduled to be present, but at the last minute he couldn’t make it so I stepped in late in the game but wow what a blast. Special thanks to Dr. Samuel Torvend for making it happen.

Dr. Torvend kicked things off, then Dr. Teresa Ciabattarri, Chair, PLU Department of Sociology offered an insightful presentation titled, “What does the American household look like today?” Then I had three sessions to explore, “Spiritual Formation in the Home/Household.”

Peace, dwight
