It’s been a bit of a quiet season for my online journal. Between the Generous Orthodoxy conference, AAR, American thanksgiving, the first week of Advent, a few significant changes in Quest, teaching, and home life with Lynette and Pascal I’ve found that I have the hardest time keeping up with my e-life. I wonder if this is a sign that my journaling days are winding down, or whether I’m in the process of living into a new rhythm or pattern of life.
Whatever it will be, I have been grateful for this space to all who have engaged it occasionally. I have found comfort and pleasure in processing my life, thinking, and work in this blog. I’m discovering that I enjoy having a record of my life. I like seeing what I was reading, or how I was imagining this or that. It think of this journal as my scrapbook… a scrapbook that others can pick up and thumb threw from time to time.
Peace, dwight
