Eugene Cho and Q-Seattle are hosting a conference addressing Faith & Race with Bob Ekblad.

One of the great opportunities for today’s white – majority culture – church is to step with even greater intentionality and resolve into conversations exploring the evils of racism, prejudices, and inequities. And to open more conversations about owning the Western church’s role in slavery, colonization, its treatment of indigenous peoples, and theologies justifying white supremacy while exploring meaningful reparations.

Eugene Cho is a Korean-American who pastors a multi-ethnic church, Dr. Bob Ekblad works with people who are under or un-documented Latin American farm workers who harvest Washington state’s food, they will be joined by a panel of Japanese-American internment survivors.

I highly commend this conference to you.

Peace, dwight
