It’s official! Today, I successfully passed the oral defense of my dissertation; my readers signed off on it. Though the hooding ceremony is at the end of April I believe I can be called “doc” . . . but please don’t.

Very happy, dwight

Right on Dwight! Now I can say "I knew Dr. Friesen even before he got his doctorate!" There‘s nothing like name dropping at the appropriate time. No, dwight I am excited for you!!

    Congrats Dwight!
Being your brother and all, I suppose you are going to force me to call you Rev. Dr. Friesen just like when you used to pin me down as a kid and make me call you "your excellence."
(just kidding!! Dwight would never have done something like that…)
