The other day I was watching a rerun of “The Simpsons” – such a great show. It was an episode from the first season.

What stood out to me was that in the first season the writers didn’t know the characters very well. So we saw Homer do and say things that are not consistent with who we know be after living with him for 14 some years. I know Homer, Marge and the kids as well – maybe even better – than I know some of my own family. And any somewhat serious Simpsons fans today probably know the character of the characters better than any of the writers could have in that first season.

I think we’ve seen this phenomena in other long running sitcoms, like the early episodes of “M*A*S*H,” “Friends,” “Cheers,” etc.

What I’m wondering is: could there be a similar character develop issue unfolding within Special Revelation? Does Creator understand creation any differently now then in first “garden season”?

Does this make any sense?

Peace, dwight
