The IDG Summit website states:

Today’s world is dividing socially and politically, environmentally and technologically. Leading to ever-growing tensions, conflicts and even war. As a consequence, we find ourselves pulled between opposing stories, values and worldviews. Making it harder to stay grounded in what truly matters, listen to contexts and work for the benefit of future generations on a flourishing planet.

At the IDG Summit 2025, together we will explore how to navigate the polarities we all bring with more wisdom, courage, and humility.  What does it mean for us and our organisations to use the potential of inner development to contribute to outer change and regenerative systems?

Bridging Polarities” isn’t just the IDG Summit theme of 2025 – it’s an urgent call. To a leadership that transcends division, acknowledges interconnection and creates real impact in confusing and challenging times.

Join a global community of forward thinking senior leaders, researchers, consultants, youth, artists, policy-makers, activists, change agents and system shakers from across the world!

I deeply resonate with, what I can’t help but hearing as an opening to an emergent spirituality.

I find deep kinship with what is being described here and the work I’ve being participating in through Faith for Cities in service of our UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). If you follow my work, then you know that I’ve been in collaboration with cross-sector leaders and practitioners from across our world’s religions. To help tap into the riches of our diverse religious and spiritual traditions to help mobilize individuals and local communities to experiment unto the SDGs as a faithful expression of their tradition.

What I hear being asked by this movement is something like, what values, practices, stories, and postures need to be inculcated to become the kind of people, organizations, and societies to make a more just, inclusive, and sustainable world for all and everyone. They have already produced and offered what they’re calling the IDG Framework, which I’ve posted about previously. The IDG Framework identifies 5 dimensions with 23 skills for human inner growth and development that can lead to the kind of outer change humanity needs.

Well, this IDG Summit expands our multifaith conversation beyond the religious traditions… and so exciting.

Here is 1.5 minute video introducing the summit.

I am both working any and all of my connections to see if there is some way for me to attend and participate in this year’s Inner Development Goals (IDGs) Summit. As of this moment I am still $2,100 USD away from meeting this goal… if you or someone you know could help me get there please connect me.

If you’re planning on attending, lets be sure to connect.

Peace, dwight
