I’m excited to be not only attending this year’s Theology Beer Camp but to be participating in a “Pre-Game Event” with Dan Koch and a gaggle of folx connected through The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology.
Our pre-game event, “Sacred Contamination” is centered around a meal and conversation exploring the gift of contamination, and fermentation. No contamination, no fermentation… means no beer. This curated tasting menu features local artisan chefs using local ingredients all of whom activate bacteria to create culinary masterpieces. I hope you can join me, and the rest of our crew in exploring the transformative power of contamination.
Some of our faculty from The Seattle School will also co-facilitate a workshop, tentatively titled, “Charles Taylor & Jacques Lacan Walk into a Bar… From the Pew to the Couch, and Beyond.”
BTW . This year, Tripp and crew are hosting Beer Camp, October 17-19 in Denver, Colorado. Grab your calendar and save the dates to join 20+ scholars, 20+ God-Pods, and over 500 people like yourself.
As always, this year promises to be filled with enlightening discussions, delicious brews, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded theology enthusiasts. This year’s confirmed keynote speakers include Ilia Delio, Brian McClaren, John Thatamanil, and Diana Butler Bass!

Hope to see you there.
Peace, dwight
