It’s Inhabit time! As you may know the annual Inhabit Conference, is convened by Parish Collective, whose mission is to connect people to be the church in the neighborhood. Inhabit is a two-day event filled with stories, learning environments, music/art born of place, and forming or deepening connections with other real world practitioners who seek to follow Christ into faithful presence within their particular place.

The theme for this year’s gathering is, “Building together for the future of the church in neighborhoods everywhere.”

This year you can anticipate getting to be together in some new and deeper ways, creating even more space to connect and collaborate across so many of our cities, denominations, and networks. Friday and Saturday, April 26th & 27th. Feel free to share the Inhabit “One Pager” with members of your group, or with your colleagues seeking to love God by loving their neighbor and their neighborhood.

This year there are three pre-conference half day sessions, Thursday, April 25 with Parish Collectives vital partners:

  • Christ & Cascadia – The Unique Opportunities & Challenges of Ministry in the Geography of the Pacific North West
  • Strong TownsLove Your Neighbor, Build Strong Towns
  • V3New Paradigms for Neighborhood Church Planting

This year’s conference will be in Federal Way, at the Dumas Bay Centre, overlooking the beautiful Puget Sound, providing an opportunity to stay onsite, there are 69 guest rooms available, so book soon if you’d like to stay on the campus… it should be fun! This gathering space allows us to spend more time together, to be rejuvenated within the community of creation, and to engage in important shared learning and conversations to dream together for the future of the Church in and across our places.

I hope to see you at Inhabit!

Peace, dwight
