Saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was 96 years old. In coming days we will learn much more, we will be aided in remembering her 70+ year reign, and will be aided in grieving her death.
But on this day I hold Queen Elizabeth, her family, all who knew her, and loved her in my heart, mind, and body. You are not alone.
As a Canadian, who grew up singing “God Save the Queen” and saw her picture on our money, she was always apart of life. I vividly remember having school cancelled the day she came to my home town so that all the students could line her parade route along Brandon’s main street.
We all die… even the royals.
