D. A. Carson who was one of the more respected Conservative evangelical New Testament scholars and one of my former teachers, has recently offered the following criticism of the “emerging church.”  In Dr. Carson’s clear, and at times, biting comments, he raises some thoughtful questions.  I expect the avant-church will hear more and more criticism like this over the coming years.

Could you provide a link to the second part of D.A. Carson‘s critique of the emergent movement?

Nodes and Hubs? I don’t get it. Can’t you just speak plain, informative english?
I clicked on a few of these links, and found nothing but rubbish, and morally
confuses "Christians" blogging in fits of egomania.

Is this something you are promoting, or is this an example of the Emergent Church
in action — a sort of showcase?

This is a great bit, thank you very much! At the moment I am writing an essay on the Emergent church and this helped a lot. D.A. Carson is a great theologian!
