I been so swamped lately I don’t know which way is up. We spent part of last week in Canada last week, visiting my folks. It was nice to be together though we almost missed the ferry on our way home.
Speaking of Canada… for all you Canadian avant-church leaders “resonate” has lunched its new conversation portal. A place for Canadians to wrestle the gospel in Canadian culture, with regional forums and stuff too.
So I have been serving on the board of bluehighway partnership we are in the process of opening a bar in Seattle. The idea is to create to stop and stare – to notice, celebrate, and live into the transcendent dailiness of life. We have just started our blog and will be posting our journey here.
By the way, it appears I may be close to an instructor position at Mars Hill Graduate School. I had a really good meeting with the Academic Dean and Associate Dean yesterday. I will be the instructor for their mentored ministry course for the next two terms and have the opportunity to submit a proposal for an advanced hermeneutics course to be taught in spring, this is in addition to the TA’ing I’ve been doing and some of the consulting I’ve done with their Institutional Advancement team. I’ll keep you posted. And if you have any Hermeneutics recommendations I’d be most grateful.
Peace, dwight
