Welcome to my new blog. As I’ve been pondering launching a site like this, I’ve been sitting with all the questions one might imagine I might be holding. Why would I want to do this? What is it about? What benefit might it be to me or others? Will the blog have a focus? What could be some unintended consequences? How might I be formed by engaging in this endeavor?
Well after attending to some of these kinds of questions, and after feeling inside the idea of having a personal blog, clearly, I decided to go ahead and give it a try.
In light of human writing, this is a new medium. I have no idea how long it will be a thing or relevant in any way, but I am going to give it a try. I my intention is to offer myself – my thinking, feeling, relational self – as best as I can through this medium. Marshall McLuhan’s “medium is the message” has been echoing in my being as I been trying to imagine this process…. I just don’t sense that I know enough about the medium to have clarity. So, let the experiment begin.
